About Preston Kiddie Kollege
Our mission is to bridge childcare to education while providing a loving, engaging, and safe learning environment for every child.
Here at Preston Kiddie Kollege, we know how important it is for parents to be confident that their child is part of a child care community that is trustworthy, safe, educational and that will lead their child lovingly as they experience their years of early childhood. That's why we strive to uphold and continue to improve our home-away-from-home environment in every classroom. The home-away-from-home environment is fostered by the compassion and extensive training of our preschool teachers, and fortified by our home-cooked meals, clean and sanitary classrooms, uniquely engaging daily curriculum, and the security of our building.
Our Story
When searching for a preschool for her daughter in 2002, our owner, Mrs. Maria, was not able to find anywhere she could trust to care for her daughter's development, learning, and well-being with proper attention to detail and love. Unsatisfied with her options, she opened an in-home childcare center at her home in Plano, TX in 2002. As demand grew beyond what she was able to provide in her home, she opened up Preston Kiddie Kollege in November of 2005 to continue providing high-quality care in a facility setting. Now, here at Preston Kiddie Kollege we are proud to continue providing that special, attention-to-detail love & care that is unmatched by other facilities for more than 15 years.
Our Teachers
Our team embraces the idea that the first step to exceptional child care is a team that works together compassionately, is knowledgeable about early childhood development, and is energetic. Children and families can feel the night and day difference in how uniquely our team operates the minute they step into our lobby to tour our school.
Safety & Security
The safety and security of our kids has always been and will remain a top priority. Our school features cameras in all classrooms, common areas, and playgrounds, providing 24-hour surveillance, and a way for our PKK parents to periodically check in throughout the day. Our front doors are always supervised & locked, and periodic safety drills are conducted to keep our staff and students ready to respond to any emergency.
Our Building
When opening our school in 2005, our owners knew they wanted a building that was filled with natural light, had spacious classrooms optimized for young children, and an abundance of playground space. Our facility was built with attention to every detail in order to ensure it had these influential characteristics, with plenty of room to grow for years to come. We are incredibly proud to call this building our own!
