About
Meet the Team
Creating a home-away-from-home environment starts with our team.
Creating a home-away-from-home early childhood education experience starts with an effective, compassionate, and responsible team of individuals. Our team functions as a family unit, and exemplifies what it looks like to communicate, give and receive feedback, and establish trust with each coworker. We recognize that only when our team is operating intentionally and together - including our management, and every teacher and staff member- can we provide the best child care and preschool experience for our PKK families.

All PKK staff must:
Undergo a thorough background check upon employment and every 2 years thereafter
Be at least 18 years of age
Have graduated high school, as a minimum education requirement (many PKK staff also hold an associate's or bachelor's degree from accredited colleges and universities)
Be knowledgeable and excited to learn more about early childhood development
Bring an optimistic and energetic attitude to work each day!
What is your staff turn-over rate?
Our turn-over rate is low - almost all of our current staff members have been with us for anywhere between 2 and 8 years.
How are the teachers trained?
During our onboarding process, all staff undergo pediatric CPR and first-aid training, and complete PKK-developed training for safety and early childhood development. In addition to initial training, all staff complete recurring annual training for CPR, safety, and early childhood development.
