Frequently Asked Questions
What is your withdrawal policy?
We understand that families may need to withdraw their child due to a number of different reasons. We require a minimum of 30 days notice in advance of when your child's last day at PKK will be.
Which holidays do you close for?
Upon enrollment, families are provided with an annual calendar with exact closing dates. We are typically closed about 12 days a year in total for New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Teacher Development Days.
Are there video cameras in your classrooms?
All of our classrooms, outdoor playgrounds, and indoor gym & library have video cameras that parents are able to tap into and watch live at any time.
What additional fees are there besides childcare tuition?
Outside of monthly tuition, we have the following fees:
$100 non-refundable registration fee per child
$200 annual supply fee per child (due in September)
If your child is picked up after closing time, your account may be subject to a late pick up fee of $2/min.
What curriculum do you follow?
Our monthly themed curriculum is always developed in-house by our teachers to maximize creative activities and ensure that the material covered is relevant to each classroom and the individual students in that classroom.
Do you offer part-time childcare?
We normally are not able to offer part-time enrollment. However, due to the current pandemic, we understand families may have different needs, and are able to consider part-time enrollment on a case-by-case basis. Please join us for a tour or give us a call to discuss the possibility of part-time enrollment in greater detail!
What are your hours?
We are open from 7AM to 6PM, Monday through Friday.
What is the childcare tuition rate for my child?
Tuition rates depend on your child's age, and any discounts your family may be eligible for. Please give us a call or join us for a tour for your child's exact tuition rate!
Have your teachers received the COVID-19 vaccine?
Yes! A majority of our staff members have now either received one or both of their doses.
How long does the enrollment process take?
The enrollment process can take less than 24 hours if needed; you may have your child start at Preston Kiddie Kollege the day following your tour. The registration fee can also hold your child's spot for up to 30 days (or longer if currently pregnant, or your child is not yet 6 weeks old).
